Stroboscopes
Stroboscopes are mainly used for industrial applications, specifically in the analysis and observation of high-speed machinery, like printing presses, cutting machines or machines in the textile industry. As the strobe flash rate has been set to match the machine cycle, the machine appears to be standing still.

Our stroboscopes also allow you to take rpm- and speed measurements. Thanks to the adjustable flash frequency, an optimal phase shift is possible. Some of our devices are equipped with the practical “slow motion” function. When using the "slow motion" function with an external signal, you can gradually move the “frozen” image forward. From an economic perspective, an inspection with a stroboscope is ideal because production does not have to be stopped for machine testing.
Portable or stationary & LED or Xenon flash
The measuring devices can be divided into two main- and subcategories. The first distinction is made between handheld, portable, battery operated devices and stationary devices. The second division is made in the type of flash: both xenon and LED flashes are available. Xenon stroboscopes are only suitable for measurements up to a maximum of 35,000 flashes per minute, while LED devices can reach higher speeds without any problems. On the other hand, a xenon flash is more centered than that of an LED device and therefore often easier to set, especially for inexperienced technicians.
Finally, when choosing the right stroboscope, the amount of lighting required is to be considered. This may for example depend on indoor or outdoor applications. The devices also differ in their IP protection classes, IP64, IP65 etc.
In order to optimally match your stroboscope to your needs, we also offer a large range of accessories, consisting of mounting options, remote controls, sensors etc. For the xenon stroboscopes, we also always have many replacement flash tubes available from stock.
Stroboscope calibration
Of course, we offer calibration services for our stroboscopes as well.
