Total measuring range (depending on material and probe type):
0.63 - 914.4 mm
Measuring range in steel (with standard T-102-2000 probe):
1,00 - 199,9 mm
The Dakota ZX-1 measures the wall thickness and the degree of corrosion on different types of materials and is the it the perfect choice for applications measuring one material on a daily basis. This convenient and easy to use ultrasound wall thickness gauge can be deployed for the inspection of pipes and tanks to cite a few. With its robust impact-resistant aluminum housing, it is perfectly adapted to resist harsh industrial conditions.
With the ZX-1 ultrasound wall thickness gauge, the velocity (sound velocity through a given material) can be set from 0.0120 to 0.7300 inches/μs and from 305 to 18,542 meters/s, for calibration on a wide range of materials. Furthermore the single velocity setting permits an easy and immediate start of measuring. The preset speed value can also be locked to prevent accidental changes. The gauge comes with a limited warranty of 5 years.
Zeroing:
Automatic or manual zeroing of the probe.
Probe diameter:
Specify the probe diameter for increased linearity.
Differential mode:
Returns the ± difference from an entered nominal value.
Velocity Settings:
Adjustable on keypad
Alarm Mode:
Adjustable maximum and minimum limits. Exceeding the limit warns a visual and audible alarm.
