Like the entire Dakota ZX series, also the new Dakota ZX-6DL is an ultrasound wall thickness measuring device to assess the wall thickness and extent of corrosion of metals, ceramics, glass and most hard plastics from just one side. With the ZX-6DL, the value of the layer thickness is eliminated and only the value of the metal wall thickness is displayed.
The ZX-6DL version offers the additional feature of an integrated data memory for 10,000 values with 250 measured values per data record, up to 40 separate data records with USB output. Data can be transferred to any program in ".csv" format or displayed in the DAKVIEW4 software (free download).
The ZX-6DL probe is waterproof and can be submerged in water. The gauge is impact-resistant and environmentally sealed (IP65) to provide trouble-free operation under the toughest field conditions.
The ZX-6DL can be used with any of the following hi-damped dual-element transducers specifically designed for use when employing the E-E Thru-Paint Mode. Probes possibilities include:
