Torque Calibration

On request, all devices can be calibrated according to DIN ISO, in addition to the existing N.I.S.T. Certificate. Of course, a torque calibration of various torque wrenches and torque measuring devices including a calibration certificate is also directly available from our web shop.

Torque Definition

Torque is a physical force that is measured in Newton meters (Nm).

It is the force required to turn a free-moving, rigid body.

Torque (M) = force (F) x distance (d). In this case, "distance” describes the length of the lever arm, measured from the pivot point to the point of force application.
