The TI-007DLX is a precision ultrasonic wall thickness gauge is especially developed for high-resolution measurement of thin-wall metal and plastics.
Its incorporated memory can store up to 10,000 data values in up to 40 batches with 250 values/batch. The data can be transferred to other devices via the USB port using the supplied cable. No special software is needed. When the TI-007DLx is connected to a PC, it is automatically recognized as a drive. This permits easy drag-n-drop into a program of choice. The derived data is compatible with every program and software, given that the data is saved in a comma delimited file format (.csv) .
The TI-007DLX has a measuring range in steel from 0.15 to 25.40 mm. In order to measure thin materials, while automatically removing any coatings in Echo-Echo Mode (E-E) as well as automatically switch to Interface Echo Mode (I-E)when measuring thicker materials, a single element tip transducer needs to be used.
Use the option Graphite Delay Line Tip and chose the plastic mode (PLAS) for measuring plastic.
In the Differential (DIFF) mode, you can set a "nominal value" and the gauge displays the ± difference between then nominal and actual wall thickness. An alarm (user-set Hi/Low Limits) triggers Hi/Lo LED's when the measured values surpass the tolerance and velocity mode.
For wall thickness measurements up to 915 mm, a single element contact transducer can be used.
The housing is made of sturdy extruded aluminum and is sealed for ultimate protection against harsh industrial and field environments.
