The TI-25MXT Wall Thickness Gauge is a compact instrument for determining the wall thickness of materials such as steel and other metals, glass, ceramics, plastics, and many other materials via ultrasound.
Ultrasound measurements are ideal wherever locations are difficult to access or only accessible from one side. This is especially the case in applications for production and industrial plants, where a continuous run of the machines must be guaranteed and a shutdown is associated with high additional costs.
The robust housing of the TI-25MXT wall thickness gauge is made of extruded aluminum. The control panel is sealed and resistant to water and petroleum products, making it ideal for harsh industrial environments and outdoor applications.
Material thickness measurements of coated or painted materials can cause false results unless the device has the ability to "hide" the layer thickness. For this reason, the TI-25MXT is equipped with two easily switchable measurement modes:
*Pulse-Echo mode for uncoated materials:
Measuring range: 0.63 - 914.4 mm (depending on transducer and material). This mode is useful for determining the wall thickness and checking for large areas of flaws.
*Echo-echo mode (multiple echo) for measurements through coating:
Measuring range: 2.54 - 25.4 mm / Maximum coating:1.9 mm. This mode is suitable for measurement by coatings. The layer thickness is automatically determined and hidden by the device so that there is no necessity for conversion calculations - the measured value is directly indicated on the display.
As we trust in the quality and reliability of our equipment, the TI-25MXT Wall Thickness Gauge comes with a warranty of 5-years.
