The MiniTest 2500 and 4500 are precision coating thickness gauges that are compatible with a variety of probes. The large selection of interchangeable probes can be deployed on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
The robust housing with IP65 protection classification is therefore suitable not only for applications in the laboratory, but also for a wide variety of outdoor applications, e.g. on construction sites, for appraisers, paint shops, electroplating plants and various industries, such as the chemical industry, the automotive industry, as well as the aerospace industry.
The MiniTest 4500 Coating Thickness Gauge provides all the features of the MiniTest 2500, along with advanced data storage, additional statistics and calibration functions, and adjustable limits with audible and visual alarms. In addition to the USB interface for data transfer to a computer, the MiniTest 4500 also offers a Bluetooth interface for transferring the measurement data to mobile devices such as smartphones or printers.
It is particularly convenient that even sensors of the previous series MiniTest 1100, 2100, 3100 and MiniTest 4100 can be reused after adjustment of the measuring electronics. The respective measuring ranges and measuring errors depend on the selected sensor.
