The G1071 Score Bending Fixture is a 2 piece fixture that can be used to measure the score quality of corrugated containers according to TAPPI T829.
This fixture is used to perform a score quality test that evaluates the relative quality of scores in paperboard, corrugated containers, and plastics.
Use this fixture with a choice of test stand and force gauge to create a complete score bend testing system.
The upper die includes a 5/16-18M to #10-32F thread adapter and #10-32 M/M stud with jam nuts.
The lower die includes mounting hardware for the following test stands: ESM303, ESM1500/750 (w/AC1055 plate), ES30, TSC1000, TSF, ES10/ES20 (w/AC1060 plate).
Recommended for use with a motorized test stand.
Note: These fixtures are designed for compatibility with a Mark-10 force gauge and/or test stand. The resulting value displayed on the force gauge will be a force value. The abstract score ratio as called for in T829 is not automatically calculated.
